Family Farming Background from Murfreesboro, TN in the Blackman area.  Attended Riverdale High School and was active in 4-H and FFA, Journalism, and lifetime member of International Thespian Society.    We raised Registered Polled Hereford, Registered Duroc Hogs, Walking horses.  Active in Livestock Exposition, showing steers and sheep.  Bottle raised dairy calves and showed cattle up till yearling age. Farm was all pasture land with Overall creek surrounding property.  Our farm was located behind what is now, Blackman High School. We sold our farm in 2021.   Re-located to Winchester, TN  in 1998 by taking a job with  UT Extension as a  4-H Agent.  Transferred to teaching secondary school in 2006 as an Agriculture Instructor/FFA Advisor.
