National Honors Society

The National Honors Society is a nationally-recognized organization in the U.S. for students who excel in academics and who also serve their schools and communities.  According to the national charter, “selection is based on four criteria:  scholarship, leadership, service, and character.”

The requirements for admission into the NHS at FCHS is an average of 4.0 and completion of honors classes.  Members are also required to serve their school or community for 10 hours each year and be active in the club activities.  Students are invited to join upon the completion of the first semester of junior year.
